(一)浅谈背单词的习惯

八个黄金片段：

起床后5分钟、早餐前5分钟、早餐后5分钟、午餐前5分钟、午餐后5分钟、晚餐前5分钟、晚餐后5分钟、睡前5分钟

任何时间任何地点都可以背GRE词汇书，GRE对词汇量要求非常大，要两万以上，上不封顶。

(二)GRE词汇记忆方法

1、词根词缀记忆单词

2、讲故事记忆单词

3、联想记忆单词

4、谐音记忆单词

具体举几个例子：

1、谐音记忆单词

sentimental adj. 感伤的，多愁善感的

释：arising from tender feelings rather than reasonable ones

例：He has a sentimental attachment to his birthplace.

sentimental music 伤感的音乐

谐音“三屉馒头”→吃了三屉馒头，吃饱饭没事干，开始多愁善感

scornful adj. 蔑视的，嘲讽的

同义词：contemptuous, disdainful

scorn [ 蔑视：s(死)+玉米(corn)→长得像死玉米→看不起你 ] + ful

例：He gave a scornful laugh at my proposal.

2、词根词缀记忆单词

词干及其所包含的意义是整个英语的基础(约翰·肯尼迪)

词根词缀的作用和地位

前缀方向→词根含义→后缀词性

词根 log 表示 speak [说]

以及有两个由尾辅音音变产生的同义词根 loqu 和 locu.

保证每天有 4-5 块单词记忆的时间，充分利用人类记忆两大黄金时间，早上起来的前 30-45 分钟，晚上入睡前的 30-45 分钟，然后在上午、中午或者下午，各任意抽出 45 分钟至 1 小时时间即可，这样每天总共有 2-3 个小时来背诵单词。

记住背单词的关键原则，第一遍接触考试词汇，你的目标不是和所有词成为莫逆之交，而是混个眼熟。要逐渐熟悉起来，应该反复，多遍地看词本身。

Question Structure

1、由 1-5 个句子组成的短文

2、 1-3 个空格

3、每个空格有 3 个选项(如果只有 1 个空格，则有 5 个选项)每个空格的选项是独立发挥作用的;也即，一个空格的选择不影响另一个空格的选项选择

4、每个空格只有一个正确选项;全部空格选出正确选项才得分，部分正确不得分

GRE填空的能力要求

输出(output)：逻辑完整性、语义完整性、相关背景知识

同义逻辑(A and B)：解释，并列，目的，修饰，递进，因果

反义逻辑(A but B)：对比，转折

2、基本的英文语法结构

词汇能力：

词汇能力是决定融入美国知识圈的必要条件。

填空题方法论：

1、确定与空格相关的逻辑关系。

2、确定与空格相关的语义。

当然最主要还是扩大词汇量，要把GRE核心词汇书作为 pillow book 枕边书，如果单词都不认识的话，那技巧再多还是枉然。
